Evaluation of the Asia-Pacific Centre of Education for International Understanding (APCEIU), UNESCO Category 2 Centre
APCEIU is a UNESCO Category II Centre focused on education for international understanding and global citizenship in the Asia-Pacific region. Its activities include training, educational programmes, and knowledge dissemination to strengthen global citizenship education, intercultural dialogue, and peace-oriented teaching and learning.
Learning Avenue's Role
Conducted the 2024 evaluation of APCEIU, in accordance with the 2019 Strategy for Category 2 Institutes and Centres, preparing the report for the UNESCO Intersectoral Review Committee and presenting it to the Executive Board for a renewal decision.
