Quality Assurance Aspects of Skills Mobility in the MENA Region within the Mediterranean Integration Programme
The project aimed to analyse quality assurance dimensions of skills mobility in MENA higher education within the Mediterranean Integration Programme. It reviewed existing QA mechanisms, their effectiveness, and their capacity to support cross-border recognition of qualifications and skills mobility. The work contributed to regional diagnostics on regulatory and policy frameworks and informed capacity-building efforts for higher education institutions and QA agencies seeking to meet European QA standards.
Learning Avenue's Role
Fabrice Hénard served as international expert responsible for the quality assurance aspects of the study, who conducted analytical work on QA frameworks for skills mobility and supported the World Bank in designing capacity-building support for institutions and QA agencies.
