Capacity Building
We empower public institutions and other partners through targeted training and knowledge transfer. By strengthening their ability to manage complex reforms, education systems, quality assurance systems, we ensure that local actors can lead and sustain their own developmental progress.
Our Role
Learning Avenue designs and implements capacity-building initiatives aimed at strengthening the institutional, technical, and strategic capacities of public authorities, higher education institutions, quality assurance agencies, training providers, and international cooperation actors.
Our approach goes beyond one-off training activities by combining knowledge transfer, peer learning, operational support, and institutional accompaniment adapted to local contexts and long-term reform objectives. We support stakeholders in developing sustainable competencies related to governance, evaluation, accreditation, quality assurance, research management, TVET reform, employability, project management, and policy implementation. Our capacity-building activities include training workshops, mentoring and coaching, peer-review exercises, methodological guidance, development of operational tools and frameworks, facilitation of multi-stakeholder dialogue, and support for institutional learning processes.
Learning Avenue works extensively across Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and Asia in collaboration with ministries, universities, international organizations, donor agencies, and regional networks to ensure that local actors are equipped to lead, sustain, and scale reform processes independently over time.
